Pastor Tom was born and raised in Webster, New York. He came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through the sovereign grace of God in 1972 while reading a New Testament given to him by his mother. He studied to be a Roman Catholic Priest for three years at the college level. Shortly after his third year in the seminary, as a result of studying the Scriptures, he left the Roman Catholic Church due to convictions concerning some of its doctrines. While attending Evangelical Bible Churches, he continued his studies primarily through correspondence and online courses. Pastor Tom has earned the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies, a Master of Theology and a Doctor of Theology. Tom was pastor of Crown of Life Christian Fellowship in Dousman, Wisconsin for five years and has been pastor at Word of Life Christian Church in West Allis since 2006.

Pastor Tom is happily married to his wonderful wife Vicki. Together they have four adult children and five grandchildren Maya, Belen, Sydney, Victoria Grace and Rosalie. Tom enjoys reading theology and history. He has taught a course on the history of the Bible in English and has presented this course in several local churches. Tom taught courses for eight years at For His Glory Bible College in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

Pastor Tom’s visions for ministry is in seeing people grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and His Word.   He desires to see people firmly established in the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. His preaching style is expository; preaching through the books of the Bible.

Pastor Tom’s favorite passage from the Bible in found in John’s Gospel chapter 11 verses 25 – 27: “Jesus said to her (Martha), ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?’ She said to him, ‘Yes Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world’” (ESV).

Pastor Tom’s favorite book is “The Pilgrim’s Progress,” by John Bunyan.

Tom enjoys reading John Calvin and “Reformed Theology” in general. He also enjoys reading the writings of the English and Scottish Puritans.

Pastor Tom’s favorite Puritans are: John Bunyan, Thomas Boston, Stephen Charnock, Thomas Watson and John Brown of Haddington and John Owen. Also loves reading the Dutch Pastor Wilhelmus A Brakel.
